28 Jun ASF/Oztime Selected for HVM Upgrade to GIO Stadium
Sport stadiums bring large volumes of people together. Therefore, protecting the public and spectators from hostile vehicle attack or accidental vehicle incursions are of utmost importance. In 2019, The Canberra Stadium Authority sought to upgrade Hostile Vehicle Mitigation measures at the facility. The goal was to increase the safety of the stadium’s inhabitants by implementing a HVM package to its entranceways and open spaces. ASF/ Oztime Technologies were the successful tenderer and awarded the task of providing physical fixed and removable solutions that can be easily managed when the Stadium is not in use.
The project’s scope will involve the Supply and Installation of approximately 100 Impeder 30 and 40 Bollards and 2 Crash Swing Gates. All products supplied are from ASF/Oztime’s crash tested and rated suite of HVM solutions available through our exclusive distribution network. With Zero penetration ratings the Impeder bollards and Oztime crash gates are amongst the best performing products in the world.
Oztime are pleased to have been awarded this project and look forward to working with the Canberra Stadium Authority to supply another quality project.
